This isn't a partisan issue in any way. This is an issue that has affected hundreds of thousands of great Americans.

We need to have templates for each type of disaster.

That's not an acceptable response from FEMA.

FEMA should have learned from the mistakes of Katrina.

No community or State should endure what has occurred in the Federal response to the natural disaster in the Baton Rouge area.

I believe they are set up to exclude people instead of categorizing their needs.

They've got to know the status, they've got to get an answer.

That policy should have been eradicated from the very beginning.

We've got to reform that. We've got to give assurances to the people that they're not going to have to elevate their homes.
