In this country, we don't have Americans--or old Americans or new Americans; we just have my fellow Americans.

The question is, how many children have been placed with known MS-13 gang members? We know of one. What do you know?

When we were at the Yuma border a year ago we talked to a group of rank and file Border Patrol agents and one thing I said is, look, we are the Congress. We cannot enforce the laws. We write laws so what laws do you need us to write?

The Chief of the Border Patrol told us at Eagle Pass that he says, I am standing in front of an open fire hydrant with a bucket. I do not need more buckets. I need somebody to shut off the fire hydrant.

President Trump proved that using the existing law he could secure the border. The laws did not change on January 20, 2021. The Presidency changed.

Here's some of the problems that we're facing. Every sheriff in the State of California in times past used to be able to ask immigration status of those who are arrested and coming through our jails. That no longer is in existence.

One of the obvious and most frightening aspects of this open border is the migration of the most violent gangs in the world.

To me, that's the most fundamental definition of citizenship.

If you look at the actual studies, that's simply not true.

The irony is that so many of them just a few years ago were complaining about foreign influence in American elections.

The Department of Transportation admitted that there was a quote, 'glitch in the system that added 100 thousand aliens to the Pennsylvania voter rolls.'

The proportion of noncitizens who voted was less than 15 percent, but significantly greater than zero.

Assuming that most people agree that voting in American elections should be the exclusive right of American citizens.

Even if this was not happening, the mere perception of it is enough to destroy public confidence that the vote will accurately reflect the will of the American people.

Since 2022, Florida has removed over a million individuals off the voter rolls. Some of which includes noncitizens.

If I'm not able to ask, then there's no data to support. So, we are legally bound in California from asking someone their immigration status under Senate Bill 54.
