This deal forces them to pay for the harm they caused the people of southeastern North Carolina, and gives our local governments more resources to help ensure clean drinking water for families.

This is about children, their mental health, and the deliberate ways that Meta engineered Facebook and Instagram to be addictive to children and then misled parents about it.

This doesn’t undo the fact that people paid too much for groceries, but it is genuine accountability in a way that will actually help people immediately.

The harm here was [to] people’s grocery bill. Why not try and do something more direct and targeted towards the neediest families in America?

The details matter here, and Duke got it wrong under oath.

If the EPA rolls back these limits, it would be a harmful step in the wrong direction.

In North Carolina, we know firsthand how damaging PFAS chemicals are to our drinking water and to people’s health.

Our state is ground zero for GenX contamination, but this deal does practically nothing to clean up our water. Chemours made this mess, and Chemours should clean it up.
