It’s a fight right now between craziness and common sense and real civility and communism, socialism, and the direction that the Democratic party has gone in to the left.

I support common-sense solutions regardless of party that will help us ensure the health and prosperity of our treasured natural resources.

Virginia’s waterways, from the Chesapeake Bay to our inland rivers, are vital to our economy, our environment, and our way of life.

The State Boating Act ensures that states can continue to fund critical programs like search and rescue, boating safety, and waterway protection without unnecessary federal interference.

We welcome any and all support from all levels. I mean, obviously that would be welcome.

Allowing these tax credits to lapse without a clear path forward would risk real harm to those we represent.

I’m urging the Speaker and our House leadership to immediately pass my bill to ensure our servicemembers, many of whom live paycheck to paycheck while supporting their families, receive the pay they’ve earned.

Republicans need to lead on this issue.

It’s time to end these tax credits, but when it comes to health care, it’s not quite as easy as letting them expire, especially when it’s something at the end of the calendar year.

In six weeks or so, people will get a notice that their health care premiums are going to go up by thousands of dollars.

While the enhanced premium tax credit created during the pandemic was meant to be temporary, we should not let it expire without a plan in place.

No legislation of this size is perfect—but there’s no question that this bill includes major priorities I’ve been fighting for on behalf of Coastal Virginia.

To put it simply, we cannot afford to undervalue the essential contributions our nurses make at this pivotal moment.

We cannot allow that to continue.

Without the PRECEPT Nurses Act, the health care workforce shortage in our country will continue to pose a real threat to quality patient care.

We must do our part to provide them the training they need, prevent burnout in their workforce, and encourage more men and women to take up the profession.

I think everybody needs to take a deep breath. I know there’s a lot of change right now.

This is the change that Americans voted for in November.

What can be done about Virginia, we are not a border state, but we are such a border state right now.
