After much prayer and reflection, I’ve decided to withdraw from my re-election campaign.

After much prayer, thoughtful reflection, and many conversations with my family, I have made the difficult decision to withdraw from my re-election campaign.

This decision has not come easily. Public service always requires sacrifice—not only from those who serve, but from their spouses, families, volunteers, and supporters.

I don't buy that at all. I think it's a political statement.

I think it's unbelievably unfortunate that our governor chose to not send representation from North Carolina to help celebrate such a momentous occasion and show patriotism.

This bill will restore American greatness and improve the lives of Americans nationwide--from the mountains of Western North Carolina to the coastlines of California.

Those are different classes. So tell the brick layers and pipe fitters out there right now... why they should feel good about paying for these student debt relief programs.
