The House has now passed it THREE TIMES and each time we pass it to the Senate they FAIL. The people want it. The House wants it. The president wants it.

What my amendment would do is it would put it into the text of the bill, then they would have to file the amendment specifically to strip voter ID plus proof of citizenship.

The only way to ensure the Senate passes this is to make sure it’s in the bill text of the NDAA, meaning that my amendment(s) must be made an order.

I will vote for the rule if you allow my amendment for voter ID plus proof of citizenship to be placed into the text of the NDAA.

The current plan being proposed by HOUSE GOP to “MIRV” NDAA + SAVE AMERICA is a procedural head fake.

I will not be voting to re-open the floor until the Senate gets back to Washington.

This is the No. 1 most important issue in the country.

If this comes back with those protections included, we have the votes to kill it.

It is time they are held accountable. Enough is enough.

When will the Senate learn that they cannot keep punching the American people in the face and not expect blowback to happen? Not one piece of their legislation will pass unless they pass the save America act.

I call on my fellow colleagues to stand firm and honor their pledge.

I will be voting no and oppose other bills AND rules until we fight for SAVE America Act.

Ultimately, they (Capitol Police) determine whether or not we can actually press charges, but I think they have more than enough evidence.

I’m just glad that there was footage of it, and I think that we have more than enough evidence to hold this person accountable and responsible.
