I just want you to know that that is a very important issue to the entire airspace issue in the Phoenix metropolitan region.

Do you see any challenges with implementing this staffing solution by the 18-month deadline outlined in the reauthorization bill?

I want to ask you about the Phoenix-Mesa Gateway's air traffic control tower.

My home state of Arizona has led the way in enacting such policies that keep prices low and ensure more sustainable options are available as we work to build the infrastructure funded by the BIL.

This language enjoyed bipartisan support in both the House and Senate and will help make critical infrastructure inspections safer for workers and more efficient for the users of the critical infrastructure.

The success of the 22 federally recognized Tribes is critical to all of Arizona.

There is no better investment than public infrastructure.

Continued investment in public transportation is an investment in our nation's economic recovery and future.

When done correctly, public transit can be transformational.

So, please consider robust funding for the Bus and Bus Facility Competitive Grant Program.

This investment means that people in Arizona can travel for work, for recreation, and to local businesses to bolster the economy in their day-to-day lives.

I urge the committee to continue to robustly fund the Federal Transit Administration.

We needed a better partnership from the Federal Government, and we need to be better partners.

We need to make sure that in the plan, it is done in a bipartisan way with mayors of both Republican and Democrat coming together.

He was an impactful leader in this body, certainly an impactful leader inside the Democratic caucus.

Securing our water future in Arizona depends on our ability to respond to the mega drought in the Colorado River Basin.

Climate change, though, presents us with significant challenges: temperatures rising even higher, less predictable and consistent rain cycles.

Thank you for the opportunity to testify today on Arizona's water resource needs and the importance of federal investments.

Lack of communication has been a significant issue. The delay is a significant issue, and it is a project not just important to the city of Maricopa, but really the entire Maricopa County because flooding in that area would be devastating.

I am extraordinarily frustrated that the significant delay in advancing this project is causing harm to the community.
