I think Arizona has dealt with the disproportionate burden and should be in front of the line.

Without additional Federal funding, they will be forced to close their doors.

Thank you very much, Mr. Chairman, for allowing me to waive onto the subcommittee to discuss critical issues to my home State of Arizona.

For two and a half years, our Afghan allies have been trapped in a frightening legal limbo--trapped because Congress has, again and again, failed to pass the Afghan Adjustment Act and make good on our promises.

The ROCKS Act is important, and it has been slow to move the working group. We need to get it done.

This is our bipartisan work in action to keep our communities safe.

More than $220 million has been allocated to reconstruct and expand the I-10 Broadway Curve.

Successful implementation of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law is our shared priority.

Widening I-10 and adding an interchange is vital to improve safety, provide direct access to the Gila River Indian Community's government services and hospital.

Their message to Congress, is additional resources cannot come quickly enough.

Arizonans know all too well that the situation at the southern border is unsustainable.

The controller workforce plan that they have presented to you this year actually reduces our numbers.

Our economy and the safety of the flying public depends on that, and we need our colleagues in the Senate to be better partners.

There needs to be oversight on this carelessness, and I stand ready to work with my colleagues.

People depend upon these devices to move around, to get to their jobs, to visit family and friends.

The House's FAA reauthorization... increases FAA hiring targets for air traffic controllers, sets up workforce development programs to improve recruitment and retention.

One of the issues I hear about most often is aviation workforce shortages, particularly air traffic controllers.

We need to keep our skies safe and our planes moving, in part so people can see their friends and family, but also because aviation is a key part of our national and international economy.

I will continue to push Congress to pass the Afghan Adjustment Act, a necessary step toward repaying and saving those who served alongside the U.S. mission.

I urge this Committee to conduct oversight over the administration and the previous one's implementation of these landmark laws and consider what more needs to be done to end this silent crisis.

One of my top priorities then, as it is now, is reforming our broken immigration system.

My bill, the American Cooperation With Our Neighbors Act, focuses on addressing these issues via cross-border collaboration, particularly with Mexico.
