I, for one, am a champion of trying to get us another icebreaker, but they are really expensive.

It should be a concern of the citizens of the United States that... they know they overwhelm the process.

We did approximately 30 percent worse in terms of cocaine interdictions this past year because of the effects of cutbacks of sequestration.

We want operations to work. And I agree wholeheartedly, and so does everyone on both sides of the aisle in this subcommittee.

But ultimately we have got to be able to have access up there.

It will just break your heart to see these families.

The law is not being enforced.

They are also disrupting Federal offices and insubordination shouldn't be tolerated.

Small-business ownership and entrepreneurship have a long track record of helping Americans achieve self-sufficiency.

Thank you, Mr. Chairman, for your tremendous leadership and your willingness to hold this important hearing right here in Queens, New York City.

Yet even as these important populations become more involved in entrepreneurship, challenges remain.

Here in New York, we have a particularly vibrant culture of entrepreneurship.

I have heard from business owners in Queens and business organizations that there is insufficient outreach from the Federal Government.

Entrepreneurs launch new ventures for a range of reasons--a change in career, to bring a new idea to market, to support their families, supplement their income, or simply to pursue a lifelong dream.

I would welcome, I believe, with many of our constituents and small businesses, a center within the Sixth Congressional District.

While access to affordable capital is a perennial challenge for all small businesses, for underserved communities, this obstacle can be particularly daunting.

The amazing thing is that in our conversations we have sort of educated each other on these two States that are kind of close to each other in the alphabet----
