Speaker Boehner said it. He said, I am not a scientist. I can't say whether there is climate change. All the more reason to listen to a scientist if you are not a scientist.

These scare tactics have been tried before and they are just not real.

The American people certainly understand this threat. You saw the poll. It is extraordinary. Democrats, Republicans and independents support the President's plan.

It saddens me more than I can ever express in words that protecting the environment at this Federal level has become an out and out war, a partisan issue.

Now, it's unequivocal that you do not market to kids.

We all should know that we need to take action to reduce harmful carbon pollution--97 percent of the scientists agree it is leading to dangerous climate change that threatens our families.

Now, I'm an adult so would I be attracted to Cherry Crush, Chocolate Treat, Peachy Keen, Vanilla Dreams? No, I wouldn't.

I would hope that that would be something GM would make abundantly clear because I may not know a lot about--but I know as a psychologist what motivates people.

The failures at GM were ones of accountability and culture.

Even when a good law like the TREAD Act of 2000 is in place it requires people to use common sense, value a moral code, and have a motivation driven by compassion for it to be effective.

What we need is a real--what you look at, and what your prioritized Mission Needs Statement is in real life. That is constrained by the budget.

We are asking for a QDR from the Coast Guard.

I would like to see the risk-based prioritization that you are doing.

I mean you want a risk assessment based on how the world is, not what we can afford, right?
