The people on the ground who have that uniform of the Park Service on were authoritarian, arrogant, and autocratic.

And there could be the possibility of shortchanging our men and women that defend this country.

This issue is about small businesses and the jobs they create which allow them to employ America workers.

Our American workers, most of whom are managers or supervisors that work directly with or manage these H-2B work crews, are not employable if we do not have a trained and reliable source of labor.

We need to be careful about how we administer any temporary guest worker program to ensure that foreign workers are not exploited and U.S. workers have a shot at available jobs.

When we can't find U.S. workers we need to be able to hire foreign workers.

Our immigration system is no longer as strong and effective as it should be and reform is complex and controversial.

To help our economy move forward we must ensure, first of all, all American workers have the tools they need to compete for good-paying jobs here at home.

This is critical to our ability to plan annually how much new work we can take on.

A guest worker program is not a luxury. It is a basic business necessity critical to their survival.

It also spurs those of us who have had the privilege to be American citizens and to grow up here...
