At the end of the day, that has to happen. We have a system of laws, we need to enforce them.

The bad news list just keeps going.

The good news – I wish that list was longer … we have been able to put together a fiscal year 2026 budget. That is a low bar, but in these divided times, it was important.

I think it’s no secret to any of you that there’s a lot of chaos coming out of Washington, D.C. these days.

I have no comment on the Republican nominee, from what I can see these are the same attacks that have been tried, and were rejected by the voters and failed.

The people of the Fifth District are looking for leaders to address the affordability crisis, cuts to healthcare, endless wars we are engaged in and so many other things.

It’s on life support.

You want wages to go up faster than inflation, but I don’t want to minimize at all the affordability issues.

Because of our policies, basically letting people keep more of what they earn, getting rid of excessive regulations, we’re one of only two states where wage growth has actually exceeded inflation over the last five years.

If you want jobs, you need employers, and government doesn’t create jobs.

This investment means more investment in our communities and opportunities for Montanans across the state, especially right here in the Flathead.

The governor always gets an opportunity to keep a special session card in his desk drawer.

We're not going to allow people to weaponize our criminal justice system. I mean, that creates a banana republic state.

No one believes that this grand jury just, you know, on its own took up this matter.

I'm not going to be speaking to them personally until this investigation is done, until I know who did what, what happened and why it happened and the way that it transpired.

Regardless of the parties involved or the issues at stake, transparency and accountability must remain cornerstones of good government.

She is a conservative stalwart, a hard worker, and represents our beloved state with class, humility, and dignity.

Campaigns are temporary. The cause is bigger than any one candidate.

I believe Darline Graham will be exactly that.

When people come forward and they say, 'I've been scared to cross the street in this area, or we have had street racing constantly all night long,' seeing them have a chance now to do something about it has been satisfying.

We have so many safeguards built into this to make sure it is purely a traffic calming and speed reduction effort and not a money grab, not a surveillance tool.
