For months, I’ve been pushing at every level to help secure this official Disaster Designation, which will now unlock millions of dollars in emergency loans and resources to help our farmers and growers begin to recover.

I urge New York House Republicans to come back to the table and write a Farm Bill that actually meets the moment: supporting farmers, strengthening rural America, protecting families, and ensuring Americans have enough to eat.

That’s why I will NOT support a Farm Bill that does not provide more time for states and counties to prepare to shoulder the cost of SNAP. A Republican Farm Bill that abandons hungry families is not a serious proposal.

85,000 New York families, kids, and seniors across the Southern Tier depend on SNAP to put food on the table. But last year, Republicans passed the largest unkind cut to SNAP in history, forcing Southern Tier counties and their taxpayers…

Congress must now work in a bipartisan, bicameral fashion to authorize the Nuclear Lifecycle Innovation Campuses and write them into law with clear oversight, clear benchmarks, and clear connections to permanent disposal.

I cannot underscore strongly enough that the Innovation Campuses must have solutions for the disposal of spent nuclear fuel if we are to be successful in this endeavor.

The hard part is still ahead of us.

One of the big things would be to take the able-bodied males and put them into the police and military, which are actively recruiting.

This started with political people starting gangs there for their own benefit. And most of the politicians there are beyond guilty of pillaging their own country instead of doing something good for their country.
