I’m eager to send this to President Trump’s desk so we can give our military the tools they need to remain the most ready, capable, and lethal force in the world.

Republicans have one week to pick a side—join us and prevent premiums from skyrocketing, or block our bill and condemn the American people to financial disaster.

But demonizing an entire group of people by their race and their ethnicity? A very group of people who contribute to the vitality − economic, cultural − of this state, is something I hoped we'd never have to see.

Many times, it’s just about being decent to people and making them feel included.

This is what Donald Trump has done. He has normalized this type of hateful behavior and this type of language.
