Should we not help Americans firsts?

I believe we should be helping Americans first.

The fact of the matter is that the churches, synagogues, mosques, other houses of worship are exempt, as are their employees.

There is an exemption for the Catholic Church, other houses of worship, for the Catholic Church and the synagogues, for mosques, there is an exemption.

I support religious freedom. I support every type of religion in America. But I do not support imposing my religious beliefs or anybody else's on anybody else.

I believe that the President bent over backward, or rather the administration, to make this separate.

In a pluralistic society where we all have different beliefs--I, for one, am opposed to the war in Afghanistan, but my tax dollars are supporting the war in Afghanistan.

Are you opposed to allowing them to take a pill or to get an IUD in cases where their lives depend on it?

While there are many problems with No Child Left Behind, we never have written a perfect bill here on Capitol Hill.

Do you think that is fair?

I think it is not--you know, it costs some dollars, it takes some special training, very often, of the teachers--most often.

If the public's response to recent disasters is an indicator of their future behavior, new spending records will be spent with respect to federal assistance unless steps are taken to reduce future losses.

But to look for another special out, which I think you find in this bill, another special out is a step backwards in trying to make progress for those students who really need some special attentions in order to progress.

Again, the Obama jobs deficit is 5.4 million jobs.

The answer is never does it balance.

And honestly, I hope you are right, but you are 5.4 million jobs wrong.

This is no plan to restrain spending, to grow the economy, and, most of all, it is no plan to save us from a debt-fueled crisis.

Why has he decided to base his reelection strategy on dividing Americans for political gain, in our estimation?
