It's all about competition. It's all about innovation.

Paying for record high budgets by siphoning money from USF is a dangerous precedent.

I want to congratulate you on your Title II decision.

It does make them do a separate analysis for every type of product that contains that chemical.

We should not in any way downplay the role the States play here.

To me, it is like part of Frank is still here in the U.S. Senate, to make this bill a reality.

I want a good bill. I don't want a perfect bill. And we don't have it here.

The TSCA bill that passed in 1976 has been a shameful failure.

He actually wanted to protect children, to protect the most vulnerable, and to reform a broken law.

We need a Federal program that protects every person in this Country.

We also can't let the interests of a few States undermine the rest of the Country.

He spoke so often about his children and his grandchildren and the need to do something about this broken law.

It is about who you protect. And it is shocking to me to see who is behind this bill.

Isn't it preferable that the EPA issue rules based on statutory guidance from Congress instead of doing it on its own?

Doesn't the EPA have a more substantial role with respect to the regulation of coal ash and with the legislation than it does under the rule that you proposed?

The disaster cap proposal included in the budget is an opportunity to both stop the borrowing and, at the same time, dedicate funding to restore our forests.
