Removing economic and geographic barriers to entry for underrepresented populations in clinical trials will result in better treatments and cures for patients and all Americans.

I request that you act swiftly to identify and resolve the causes of these failures and help return South Dakota’s mail service to the standards Americans deserve.

The people of South Dakota depend on the Postal Service for critical communication, medicine and care.

I believe these issues are caused by the flawed design of the USPS network, which all but guarantees that mail traveling across or to South Dakota must travel in a circuitous manner through locations around and outside of the state.

In recent months, I have heard from hundreds of constituents across South Dakota voicing substantial issues with United States Postal Service (USPS) service in my state.

I believe the FSOC Improvement Act is a crucial step towards enhancing the effectiveness and transparency of our financial regulatory system.

The work we do within the Senate Appropriations Committee is an example of what we can accomplish when we work together.

This appropriations package reduces the cost of running these agencies by $2 billion compared to what a continuing resolution with current funding levels would have been.

Free and fair elections are a foundation of our democracy. Part of that fairness is making sure only United States citizens are voting for our leaders.

After years of continuing resolutions that reflect a Biden budget under Democrat leadership, we’ve now passed 11 of the 12 appropriations bills that fund 96% of government programs with President Trump’s priorities.

The appropriations process is one way we work to deliver real results for South Dakota.

The 21st Century Road to Housing Act includes several of my bills that modernize rural housing programs and cut unnecessary red tape that slows housing development.
