It’s not been easy to get things done, but if somebody knows where they want to go, there are ways and there are people that you will find if you’re willing to talk and be willing to listen.

They need predictability. They need access to markets. They need to know that when they plant their crops or raise their cattle, that there will be a market for what they produce.

We know the people of Wyandotte County are facing a long road to recovery after these devastating storms.

These questions merit serious attention and real answers.

I ask all Kansans, regardless of political party, to unite and move our state forward by electing Cindy Holscher this November.

I just hope that people recognize that, and even through all the confusion that they know to vote no.

The Legislature has never accepted the first ruling on either one of those, and so this is their way to change that and to give themselves the authority to decide these things.

It’s important, at this point, to be fighting back bad, and to know that whoever becomes governor will fight back and stand up for Kansas.

Our problems are really coming from the federal government and a lot of the policies that the Trump administration is forcing down on states.

I have told you that I would never run again for an office, and, other than school board, I’m going to stick to that.

A sentence of life in prison with no chance of parole makes much more sense for all concerned.

I don’t think these ought to be political positions and I was not about to start using political considerations.

Kansans deserve justices who possess unquestioned integrity, deep legal knowledge, sound judgment and unwavering commitment to applying the law fairly and impartially.

I think in Kansas you just have to do that unless you want to bully your way through being governor.

Ethan Corson possesses those qualities.

I hope she will display the strong leadership and moral clarity to do so.

I urge Gov. Laura Kelly to commute the death sentences of the nine men on Kansas’ death row to life without parole.
