we want a pro-business governor in there to take the lead for the next four years.

Oklahoma will not turn a blind eye to organizations or networks that may support terrorism.

Because we’ve cut taxes, reined in wasteful spending, and resisted the urge to grow government, Oklahoma is thriving.

I look forward to going back to the private sector, but whether you’re in business or public service, I think we want to work with our friends, and we like leaving our community better than we found it.

When states lead, America succeeds.

Lindel has already shown strong, steady leadership, and I am confident he will continue serving Oklahoma students and families with focus and integrity in this expanded role.

It’s OK that the states are different and they have different values and philosophies.

This is what happens when you keep your fiscal house in order.

We can’t print money in Oklahoma, so every year, we balance our budget. Our national debt is out of control, and every year the federal government is spending $2 Trillion over its revenue.

I’m grateful to the National Governors Association for starting the Center for Dignity in Politics to promote a unifying way of thinking that reflects the deep truth that we’re all equal in the eyes of the Lord.

We should keep modeling dignity and being willing to listen. Republican governor or Democrat governor, we’re going to talk about our policies, but we can do it in a respectful way, and I think that’s healthy for our country.

I believe we have to keep the free market, make it easier to start businesses, make it easy for people to grab opportunities – and affordability is something we’re all focused on across the country.

If there’s something that we fundamentally think is going to be bad for our country, we all should say something.

I’m honored to welcome governors from across the nation to Oklahoma for the National Governors Association Summer Meeting.

I trust our election process.

I believe that you can accomplish any dream if you’re willing to work hard for it.

The American Dream is still alive and well, and governors are working together to make sure every American has the opportunity to chase their dream.

I don’t think that we should federalize the elections at all. I believe that is a state issue.

I think one of the reasons the temperature’s so hard, so loud and divisive, is because of this one-size-fits-all, huge federal government.

I’m proud of the work we’ve done together to empower people to chase their dreams, and I’m excited to celebrate that here in Oklahoma City this week.

I hope we get back to the fiscal piece of our party.

We agree on much more than we disagree.

Every child deserves the opportunity to pursue the American Dream and build a brighter future, regardless of the circumstances they were born into.
