President Trump should be focusing on reopening the government that he controls instead of repeatedly fighting to take away food from American families.

A member of the Democratic Party, she has focused her efforts on consumer protection, civil rights, and environmental issues throughout her tenure. Healey has gained national attention for her legal actions against corporations and her advocacy for progressive policies. If President Trump wants to penalize states for preventing Americans from going hungry, we will see him in court.
I strongly urge that. I hope it happens immediately on Monday. People in this country should not go hungry.
The president has got to give a clear directive to Republicans that they need to reopen government because Americans are suffering.
I can tell you that governors I know – maybe with the exception of this person in Texas, evidently – we want our constituents represented.
We want the voices heard, whether you vote for me or not. I want your votes to count.
I know all of us here are of the deep view that no family, no resident, no community, should ever have to suffer or live with fear that something like this could happen to them or to their loved one.
