I have criticized Secretary of State Marco Rubio for paying $7.5 million to the government of Equatorial Guinea.

We need to put the shutdown behind us, end the circular firing squad, and remember why we're in this situation.

If they don’t take it up, I’ll give you a prediction: The November 2026 elections are going to look a whole lot worse for Republicans than the November 2025 elections did.

Let's look at what we can get done in the timeframe we have, and recognize there is real urgency to get these premium tax credits extended.

I don’t tell Ro Khanna or AOC or anybody else who you should pick as your House leader, because I got a full-time job being a senator.

nobody wants to extend the Affordable Care Act tax credits more than me.

So we need to look both in the short term and in the long term for how we address the cost of health care.

There’s a lot of young, aggressive, good people with good intentions that love the country and have the youth and vigor to do it, and I’m going to be looking for those people.

There’s a lot of good people out here that are looking for a pathway forward.

I appreciate Senator King's efforts here, but it's not going to work.
