If the goal were to lose trillions of dollars and get mired in scandals, Jay Powell would be the gold standard—but that’s not the goal.

Have you ever seen these Democrats in Florida fight this hard for you as an American citizen?

I’m willing to do Blanding once Alligator Alcatraz is filled, and so DHS has started moving in a significant number of people.

But what I don’t want to do is set up Blanding, if, you know, one is 60 percent full and then the other is 40 percent [full].

These are folks — and a lot of them have of criminal records. But that’s what’s happening here, and I think it’s been very effective now.

Make no mistake, what Trump and his congressional enablers have just done is a direct attack on rural America and on Southerners like us. It is a betrayal.

Can you imagine threatening individual businesses, saying, ‘you’re going to do this, or I’m going to do this,’ as a leader? If you’re in the business community, shame on you for supporting this guy still.

When we deliver and make people’s lives better, they’re willing to vote in different ways. They’re willing to support different people, and that’s where we’ve got to be.

We’re just simply talking about all businesses. What we don’t want is monopolies. We don’t want corruption.

We’ve got to speak out, even in places where we might be in the super-minority. We’ve got to be unapologetically the Democrats that we are.

We’ve got to be more than just against someone. We’ve got to be for something, and that overall ‘something’ has to be a better life for the American people.

We have a huge opportunity right now. Donald Trump is tearing apart our democratic norms.

The actions of the Trump administration are providing a huge opportunity for Democrats to go out and regain the trust of the American people to be the party of common sense, common ground and getting things done.

Look, the business community is finding [out] right now how bad a businessman Donald Trump is, crapping on the economy, you know, tariffs back and forth, threatening businesses.

This was always the constitutionally correct map — and now both the federal courts and the FL Supreme Court have upheld it.
