You’re damned if you do and damned if you don’t. I can’t remember a situation where I felt there were less palatable choices.

Shutting Democrats out of a briefing on U.S. military strikes and withholding the legal justification for those strikes from half the Senate is indefensible and dangerous.

We’re absolutely not willing to put on pause any work that we will do to keep communities safe.

There’s no American citizens that have been arrested or detained. We focus on those that are here illegally. And anything that you would hear or report that would be different than that is simply not true.

Please let children be children for one holiday, free from intimidation and fear.

Illinois children should not be robbed of their innocence. Let them enjoy a time-honored American tradition safely and peacefully.

No, we’re absolutely not willing to put on pause any work that we will do to keep communities safe.

If we want to win the competition with China, we need to think well beyond the next election and even the next decade.

A new low for the administration and corrosive to our democracy

From day one of this campaign, I’ve been laser-focused on driving down costs, and that remains my North Star as we take that message to all 21 counties this week.

I’m running for governor to defend the state we love. To drive down costs for housing, health care and utilities.

He was never serious about a deal. He wanted this shutdown.

The fact that you and I will be paying more for toys this Christmas and we are already paying more for Halloween bears truth to my assertion of the recklessness of his policies. He's wrecking this country.

I was humiliated watching the president of the United States in front of Xi. I mean, he was negotiating away this country in the first five minutes of the photo op. He came back with nothing. He got played by President Xi.

He doesn’t even know. He said the Pentagon should do it. Wake up, Mr. President. I know he may have jet lag. It’s the Department of Energy. He doesn’t even know which agency is responsible for that.

Look, this is weakness masquerading in strength. This is classic Trump and Trumpism. This guy is historically weak, and these are acts of a weak person that is trying to appear strong.

President Trump said Curtis Sliwa is not ready for prime time.

Don’t believe me. Believe President Trump if you’re a Republican.

There is no way Curtis Sliwa can actually win. Curtis Sliwa can only make Zohran Mamdani win.
