Working parents are struggling so much, and I know about this because I was almost a working parent, except I couldn’t find childcare, and that is still a fight that my children are facing today.

Today, we reject indifference & choose remembrance.

With their return and a permanent ceasefire, I’m hopeful that vital aid will soon reach families suffering in Gaza and that today marks the beginning of a new chapter of lasting peace and freedom for Israelis and Palestinians alike.

Due to the ongoing nor’easter, I’m declaring a State of Emergency for NYC, Long Island and Westchester.

People are getting their premium increases right now, and it’s one more thing on top of the cost of food and electricity and rent and child care and all the other expenses that people are incurring.

That’s a nonstarter.

All it takes is a blip on the financial markets to delay certain trades by just milliseconds, to put the market into an entirely different attitude about the security and the soundness of being able to make those transactions happen.

We do not have enough of these types of leaders, and a loss of any one of them without strong justification is disappointing.

Those are areas that they would love to [access] just so that when the time comes, in my opinion, they can look at it and simply say, 'We know where you're at. Don't mess with us. We're capable of causing real problems for you long term.'

The departure of General Haugh is a loss for our nation but will be a tremendous gain for any private or public entity where he decides to lend his expertise and leadership.

Threatening to be able to cause chaos on Wall Street would be something that they would love to do.

Vis-a-vis those allegations? No. In general, have I learned to be more careful, frankly — just don’t put yourself in a situation where anyone can say anything, where you always have witnesses.
