I remain concerned that as a country we have yet to strike the right balance between the intelligence-gathering needs of the FBI and the civil liberties and privacy rights of Americans.

I intend to reintroduce that bill tomorrow and hope that Senators from both parties will join me in this effort to improve the PATRIOT Act.

I have had concerns about the scope of Section 702, even though its statutory focus is on foreigners overseas.

The kind of meat axe approach of that has been devastating to law enforcement.

I believe that the IRS did not perform and handle their applications for status correctly.

The FBI is the right agency, in my opinion, without question.
