This is a desperate attempt of the Trump administration to blame everybody else in the world and not accept any accountability.
We should always review our vetting, but in this case, there's no evidence that there was something that escaped the vetting.
Trump should spend less time traveling around the world and more time negotiating an end to his shutdown.
This is why we have primaries, so we can have a contest of different people’s views.
We should not be punishing federal employees for something they had nothing to do with. They’re not responsible. They’re innocent bystanders.
Ron Johnson’s bill would essentially weaponize the government shutdown to allow President Trump to decide who works and gets paid and who doesn’t work and doesn’t get paid.
Our belief is that no federal employee, no one should bear the burden or be punished for a shutdown they have nothing to do with.
