Hans Peterson made a calculated decision. He felt that he would have better treatment if he went into the French judicial system and left the United States. I think that it was a clear calculation on his part.

And, by the way, Senator Clinton still has not explained what exactly this mandate is. What is she going to do if somebody doesn't purchase health care? Is she going to fine them? Is she going to garnish their wages?

I'm tired of watching the Democrats and Republicans in Washington play political games while millions of Americans remain uninsured.

Ronald Reagan would have never raised taxes like Mike Huckabee did. Ronald Reagan would never have said, let's give tuition breaks to illegals, like Mike Huckabee did.

He said it was universal. He said it was sort of universal. He said it wasn't universal. He said he covered everybody. He said he didn't cover 15 million.

There are no problems.

Because the best way to show our gratitude for what we have is by doing our part for those who have less.

As a result of rising costs on everything from health care to gasoline, more and more Americans can't afford to put food on the table.

And while we're at it, let's strengthen the Emergency Food Assistance Program, the Food Stamp Program and the Commodity Supplemental Food Programs and launch additional anti-hunger initiatives to help ensure that no American goes hungry.

To help address this, we need to stand up to the special interests, bring Republicans and Democrats together, and pass the Farm Bill immediately.

That is unacceptable in this country, of all countries.

As Americans gather with family and friends and reflect on what we're thankful for, let's all do our part to help the growing number of people who have no place to go for a meal on Thanksgiving - or any other day.
