This program needs to be improved, and I think it can be.

It makes all the sense in the world, and I hope that we can get that done in the sense that I think it is so important that we move government, you know, into this century.

When you do these drawdowns, and not carefully, there are consequences to pay.

What purpose does this serve, to have that permanent force there?

Thank you for holding this hearing so that we can continue to evaluate proposals to improve the quality and delivery of services to our Nation's veterans, and fight to uphold all of the promises that we have made to them and their families.

But we should know the answer in the sense that that is why we are doing it.

Extending this program is a common sense step to empower our disabled veterans through sport, and benefits the physical and mental health of our disabled veteran community.

This legislation is supported by many VSO's, including some here today, and would be a step in the right direction in expanding educational opportunities for veterans and would actually save the Federal Government money.
