We have to fear complacency.

Well, gentlemen, this has been an enlightening morning and early afternoon. I want to really thank you for joining us today.

Just being able to communicate their work, their role, their concerns, their efforts to focus on safety.

The only thing that is new in the world is the history we never learned or have forgotten.

We have nothing to fear but fear itself.

Without a safe nuclear industry, there will be no nuclear industry.

This is a time to remain vigilant.

I want to conclude just by saying that we may have some follow up questions that we will submit in writing, and if you could respond in a timely manner, we would very much appreciate that.

I think we all found it just very interesting. All the testimony is very good, but it was just riveting the way you documented it.

I believe President Obama has made an excellent choice and I strongly support Mr. Strickland's nomination.

I see the Fed as a bank regulator big-time failing the American people.

If an institution is too big to manage, and a lot of them seem to be---- then it would follow that they are probably too big to regulate---- so we have created a monster among ourselves, have we not.

I think the events of the last few days have made it clear that our efforts must remain directed at dealing with the problems in the financial system.

You would have to give them an 'F.' You would have to give them an 'F' if you were a teacher on their ability to regulate the banks.

If it is too expensive to internalize those risks, then that means that we need smaller institutions.

There is no end game, is there.
