It is not unimpressive that over 50 percent of the servicemembers who are leaving the Armed Forces now are, in fact, enrolled in the VA.

It just seems unfair. We have to take and weigh someone's constitutional right.

There is a bill that I cosponsored with Senator Burr but I do not see it, though I may be wrong.

There is no question that in Alaska we have the highest number per capita of veterans in the Nation.

I believe I have heard the Secretary mention the value of advanced appropriations for the medical services.

I would look forward and maybe we can ask the other side of VA at one point what they saw as their savings and opportunity.

S.674 Accountability for Veterans Act of 2013

This bill acts as a continuation.

Again actually Senator Boozman and I have a bill entitled Putting Veterans Funding First Act, S. 932.

I will be honest with you that many in my State, as well as other States I have talked to, are not satisfied with the leadership within the Indian Health Service.

I tell you, the Administration is wrong, absolutely wrong on this.

I feel at times being an advocate means truly stepping out of the box and telling people they are wrong on certain issues.
