The committee will come to order. Good morning. I want to welcome you all here to the first full committee hearing of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee for the 115th Congress.
Our goal is the same level of success for this Congress, so get ready to roll up your sleeves and get to work.
I look forward to working with each and every one of you during this Congress, which I believe will be a very, very busy Congress.
The Federal Government also made a mistake in reallocating the money back to Amtrak because it crushed the competition.
I also want to strongly associate myself with Mr. DeFazio, what he said. He has hit the nail right on the head.
