Mr. Speaker, this indeed is historic environmental legislation, not only because it provides for water resource protection and development throughout these United States, but most particularly because this is the largest ecosystem restoration project in the history of the world.

The United States has the safest aviation system in the world. That can never be taken for granted.
But I would like you to take that message back to the White House, that let's do the leadership role of funding a transportation system, and let's let the public pay for it.
I think the families deserve to hear what those solutions are, but more importantly, that those solutions are actually put into place.
To hell with it. Let's just do it ourselves and not sit around and be jerked around on this thing.
