I know we all want to strengthen the program so that it is available to the truly needy students.

And yet, we have had no cooperation from the administration on looking at that issue, and I would like to note that it would be good if we could get your support for that legislation.

I hope we can work together through the upcoming reauthorization of the Higher Education Act to continue these efforts to limit federal overreach and preserve flexibility in our modern higher education system.
