It is not too much to ask, and to deport them into this dangerous situation is not consistent with the basic values of America.

For God’s sake, don’t send these people back to an island which we have already declared is too dangerous for any American to visit.

Cornyn and Tillis seem to have gotten nothing. The tax immunity deal is still unlimited in terms of tax control liability, and the slush fund, or the thug fund, as I call it, is still alive and well so far as Donald Trump is concerned.

We want to express our gratitude to Mr Blanche and his staff for working with us on this, and we look forward to voting to advance his nomination out of the Senate Judiciary Committee soon.

It’s unfortunate that Todd Blanche, who I consider qualified for the job, will not be confirmed because of this reversal.
