Former governors

That's what we all got hired to do, and we're going to do our job.

I think it's very important when you hear the criticism of it from the left, if you will.

We cannot spend our way out of this crisis.

First of all, if it's a family with a joint income of $100,000, they won't have an income tax increase.

The people who put those policies forward said you ought to do that because then they will create more jobs.

I had an opportunity to see people who were serving this country and people who are living here and working hard, making our jobs possible.

The plan is fair to the middle class and to the working poor.

Together we can build prosperity and hope again.

Let's capture the spirit of our mighty Midwesterners, who for 2 weeks have refused to relinquish their dreams in the face of this terrible flooding and who have proven that nothing is impossible when we all pull together.

I'm honored to address the National Association of County Officials today and very, very grateful for the strong support you've given to our economic plan.

The Department of the Interior shall, on a reimbursable basis, provide such administrative services for the Council as may be required.
