Frank Joseph Pallone is an American politician serving as the U.S. Representative for New Jersey's 6th congressional district since 1993. A member of the Democratic Party, Pallone has been a prominent advocate for health care reform, environmental protection, and consumer rights. He has played a key role in shaping legislation related to public health and climate change, often speaking out against policies he views as detrimental to these areas.
This issue hits close to home for me. Just this past December, 33 cases of measles were confirmed in Ocean and Passaic counties of my home State of New Jersey.

Some uses of our data is certainly concerning. This committee has explored many of them, Cambridge Analytica's use of people's data to manipulate their political opinions and influence their votes, for example.
It is, therefore, impossible to assess EPA's effectiveness without looking at whether the Agency is enforcing the Federal environmental statutes that are already on the books.
Thank you, Chairman Schakowsky, when you said that, you know, what this committee is all about is putting consumers first.
I plan to work with my colleagues on both sides of the aisle to craft strong, comprehensive privacy legislation that puts consumers first.
