Frank Pallone: I wanted to say that my real concern, of course, is that we never get a chance to vote on the Patients' Bill of Rights…

On the recordJuly 23, 2001
I wanted to say that my real concern, of course, is that we never get a chance to vote on the Patients' Bill of Rights this week or even this year. We know that the leadership, the Republican leadership, has promised that the bill will come up for a vote this week. We are going to hold them to the fire on that, that it must come up and that we must have a clear vote, a clean vote on the real Patients' Bill of Rights. We will be here every night, if necessary, this week to make that point until that opportunity occurs.
