When Congress fails to fund agencies consistently because of sequestration, shutdown, or just short-term extensions that unfortunately become the norm, it can have a significant impact on cleanup schedules.

So if you look at the amount of money that is being spent versus what is needed, there is a huge gap, obviously.

As successful as Superfund has been, there is still so much important cleanup work to be done.

Superfund has been an incredibly important tool for protecting public health and the economy in my home State of New Jersey and throughout the country.

Fewer Americans are struggling to pay their medical bills and fewer are forgoing care because they can't afford it.

I am a strong supporter of the Affordable Care Act-and for good reason.

The job of the Commission is to regulate nuclear power for the benefit of all Americans, not just one industry or sector.

In no way, shape, or form can safety take a backseat to cost or competitive pressures, and that would be a recipe for disaster.

I believe there is an important role for nuclear energy to play in addressing global climate change, but I want to make perfectly clear that safety must come first.

This is a critical moment in time for the nuclear industry and its regulators.

Has requiring these insurers to offer essential health benefits, such as emergency room visits, prescription drug coverage, has that caused turmoil in the small group market thus far?

Now, would adding more larger employers to the small group marketplace help with the sustainability of the SHOP Marketplaces?

I support the Affordable Care Act because of its positive impact on small businesses.

With all of ACA's reforms, from its passage to its implementation, we have heard predictions that the sky was falling, yet it has not.

The ACA has increased access and reduced financial barriers to important preventive services.

Since its passage, 17 million Americans have gained health insurance coverage.
