To be Representative of the United States of America to the United Nations for U.N. Management and Reform, with the rank of Ambassador.

Too often our reaction to the violence is to simply hunker down and turn our backs.

I hereby delegate to the Secretary of State the authority and duty vested in the President under section 1612 (b) and (d), Title XVI of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 1994.

It is my view that the President and First Lady of the United States, that when they tell me they have complied with the subpoena fully, I am perfectly comfortable with their answers in that regard.

Government cannot solve all the problems of America.

No citizen of this great Nation should ever have to apologize for that.

No one asserted any privileges.

We must be good neighbors again.

This law is going to make a difference.

We are producing all the documents called for by the subpoena.

This is not a call for blind heroics but practical action if we want to save our own citizenship.

Government cannot do this job alone; neither can the police forces themselves.

All I can tell you is if you look at what we're trying to do with the crime bill, we're trying to give some resources to the States and to the communities to begin to turn that around.
