I absolutely agree that the number one issue in America today are jobs and putting our people back to work, because that solves a lot of our problems, if you have a job.

I came to Congress to try to do that. Unfortunately, I wasn't included in the discussion of it very much.

I agree with Mr. Pollack. What I would like to see in this country is that all Americans have affordable health insurance coverage, or as close to 100 percent as we can get.

I hope this hearing and my testimony contributes to that understanding as it relates to PPACA's grandfathering and MLR provisions.

The ACA already is costing jobs in the health broker community because of misguided regulations concerning the medical loss ration requirements.

Higher health care costs put additional pressures on the employers' bottom line and increase the cost of hiring new workers.

So this ought to be renamed, 'If It Ain't Broke, Don't Fix It Law.'

Those young people there were protecting our rights to have a free and fair election.

If we are not providing basic health care needs for our veterans, why are we fixing up my office so it looks nice?

I had to be the one that would sit down and say hey, I didn't get this lab test.

I would like to have that so the Committee would know through this error that was made how much the taxpayers were on the hook for, plus the risk that the patients had.

I think that combined with the VA's top to bottom review now gives us the body of evidence, objective and otherwise, to chart the road ahead.

We are up here fighting back and forth about the resources now and not having enough resources.
