We have to make sure that our workplaces are safer and that workplace accommodations for pregnant women and new moms are made.

I feel as though in a country where we say that we value family values so much, that we often miss the boat when it comes to policies and accommodations and efforts that need to be made to truly promote family values.

Achieving gender parity in education is not just a moral imperative.

I urge unanimous support for the Uyghur Human Rights Policy Act of 2019.

This issue and the issue of human rights more broadly is of central importance to our bilateral relationship between the United States and China.

I believe that we have an obligation to remember that message right now and to think about what future generations will say about how we acted or did not act in this moment.

I do put this squarely at the feet of the Administration in terms of its actions.

It, literally, makes me cry to imagine.

Congress also established broad based categorical eligibility in the 2008 Farm Bill so that more children could be eligible for free school meals.

It risks their health and their wellbeing and it is imperative the USDA is transparent with the public.

Many children would lose their access to school meals as a result of this rule.

So the answer to that is no.

I know full well the struggles of military families.

We cannot continue to have profits over people as the most important thing governing this discussion.
