When there is abuse of the independent contractor classification, it is actually to the detriment of American workers.
I was very proud last Congress to support the Inflation Reduction Act, which was signed into law in August 22.
I, too, rise in support of H.R. 5856, the Trafficking Victims Protection Act of 2000.
I could think of no subject more suitable for bipartisan support.
