I am not about to go back to them and say let's leave it up to the market to determine what the price of your insulin should be.

It is unconscionable and I can't believe we're even sitting here having this discussion.

This is a problem that our country is having. We have people dying because they cannot afford their prescription drug prices.

We are just consistently putting profits over people.

We have a responsibility to do everything within our power to shape a future in which no child, woman, or man dies from a preventable or treatable disease.

So, our President loves to refer to himself as a great negotiator and a great deal maker. But we have not seen any successful deals on behalf of the American people yet.

But I hope we do not negate the progress that we have helped build in that country and the sacrifices, particularly that our troops have made by pulling out with a plan in place to create and sustain lasting peace.

How is the Trump Administration working to ensure that the investments the U.S. has made in Afghanistan...is not lost if we withdraw from the country?

But the second and the most obvious elephant in the room is the funding for these kinds of programs.

I am distressed by some of the comments we have heard today that seem to lay all of this at the feet of the family.

Is there anybody here who disagrees that companies have an economic incentive to classify individuals as independent contractors rather than employees?

You don't have that ability because you are classified as an independent contractor.

The statistics on those two schools is that after graduation from the 2-year programs, 93 to 94 percent of their alumni are either continuing their education or in a career.
