I still want to see better communication and be assured that all of the government agencies have come together.

It can't take a month for people to get the equipment on the ground we need.

We have like 1980s-era policies to combat a current threat, and that's not acceptable.

I think what we know today is that this was going on for really a month until it seemed as if we started to get some responses.

Today I missed a vote on the House Floor. Had I been present, I would have voted: YEA on Roll Call No. 344, the Democratic Motion to Recommit on H.R. 8281. Stated against:

This situation is completely unacceptable.

May I inquire as to how much time I have remaining. The CHAIR (Mr. McClintock). The gentlewoman from New Jersey has 2 minutes remaining. The gentlewoman from Texas has 2\1/2\ minutes remaining.

I think first I have to see some leadership from the speaker. I've not seen that yet.

It's really shocking to watch your report and to think that there are these people like Marjorie Taylor Greene on the right that are pro-Putin, that are -- that are pro-Russia.

I think the Ukrainians have shown as time and time again that with our support, they can be incredibly successful. So, you know, time is of the essence.

I think what's on the table right now is will Speaker Johnson get this supplemental package passed. That's what is most important to me, is the substance of that.

Sadly, what has also become clear is the broad-scale use of war crimes by the Russians.

U.S. leadership has been instrumental in this fight and has been--that has been noted by our allies across the world, and appreciated.
