As somebody who understands close elections, I get the fact that you want everybody to be able to cast a ballot.

The biggest threat that we have to fair elections is in my opinion, partisanship.

This is a great opportunity to be here, to bring Washington to you, rather than expecting everybody else to go to Washington.

My overarching priorities for all that the four of you do can be broken into four areas.

I guess what I need to ask you, is there technology in place where you can locate a Member if there is an emergency?

This effort is vital to protecting over 2,400 acres of existing neighborhoods valued at over $2 billion.

Second, building a strong culture of service in all that you do.

I have really developed an appreciation for the incredible role that your office plays in the life of Members of Congress.

I want to thank you very much for the incredible work that you do on behalf of all of us.

Do Members know that? Do Members know that that capacity exists, that that technology exists?

And, finally, ensuring the House is getting a return on investment for the additional resources that you receive.

Unfortunately, the budget request is woefully inadequate to address our Nation's water resources infrastructure needs.

Third, instituting common sense processes and procedures--we don't need to make things overly bureaucratic just because we can.

We must provide the Department of Energy and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission with the resources necessary to continue and complete the licensing process.

First, improving proactive communication with offices.
