I appreciate your optimism, but forgive me for being somewhat of a pessimist because I have had this same conversation for years now.
I would envision, if the majority changes here in the House, any legislation that is passed into law would likely have more environmental review provisions like One Federal Decision.
These systems have worked. At the end of the day, the outcomes were exactly as they should have been. It’s why people can and should have faith in our election system.
My concern is--and I would like to know from you--where is that data that can be used by our local DOT in the State of Illinois, or elsewhere in the country, or local governments, where is that sourced from?
