It has significant consequences to Kansas families.

There is no doubt but what the cost and price of drugs is an important public policy issue.

In my view, this hearing was what a congressional hearing in most instances should be, an opportunity to be educated and to learn.

I also mentioned that you were able--I know this is not a generic drug, but we were talking about Duchenne and the muscular dystrophy drug.

The FDA's role in the drug approval process is critical to expanding the pharmaceutical market and driving down costs for consumers.
