I am a big supporter of Amtrak's national network, especially the Cardinal line, which connects Northeastern cities like New York to Midwestern cities like Indianapolis and Chicago.

Andre Carson is a Democratic member of the U.S. House of Representatives, representing Indiana's 7th congressional district since March 13, 2008. He is the second African American to serve in Congress from Indiana and has focused on issues such as healthcare, education, and economic development. I think if we are going to improve our supply chain in rail service, we have to expand opportunities for talented workers and experienced rail maintenance personnel to build up the quality of service and safety.
