As Members of Congress, we have a duty to protect Americans reporting abroad.

I am also calling for accountability of any officials whose actions or failure to act contributed to these deaths and injuries.

These cufflinks are a reminder to future generations of Congress’ role in shaping a country that is by the people, with the people and for the people.

We must honor them with our actions--rejecting misinformation, upholding the integrity of our elections, and ensuring no one is above the law.
