Andre Carson is a Democratic member of the U.S. House of Representatives, representing Indiana's 7th congressional district since March 13, 2008. He is the second African American to serve in Congress from Indiana and has focused on issues such as healthcare, education, and economic development. Carson has been an advocate for collaboration and compassionate dialogue in political discourse, often emphasizing the importance of partnerships in driving change within his community. He has also been vocal about condemning violence and promoting unity among constituents.

I'm very concerned about threats to transit funding, especially in our home state of Indiana.
